We already have His love and received His favor when we surrendered to Christ. We are reconciled to God through Christ, not ourselves. It's hard, especially for those of us with Type A personalities or an ingrained "Protestant work ethic" to accept that we can have something so wonderful without the power to earn it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6236017686155029780.post-19767737588735021702008-11-22T18:25:00.000-06:002008-11-22T18:25:00.000-06:00Oh yes, Daily Surrender, moment by moment at times...Oh yes, Daily Surrender, moment by moment at times too; The only way to truely follow Jesus! Once I understood this, I was healed of the little insecurities that were keeping me from loving others as I should. It is very freeing. We can't give to others what we don't posess. When we are focussed on "performance" its all about us. But when we focus on His grace we can then show that grace to others.Ordinary Thingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17932565287932476103noreply@blogger.com
